Had lunch here today when spotting this gem driving down Washington. We got two lunch specials with chicken shawarma and a side of fries, which was delicious. The plate was flavorful (but not salty) with a variety of dishes. Make sure that you ask for the spicy green sauce! There was outdoor seating but the awning blocked the sun. The staff was sweet; its family owned.

We love Tut's!!! Their catering is always perfect for big get togethers. The food is consistently good no matter the size of our order. We usually get some combination of gyro, chicken kebab or beef kebab. And I usually have to fight the temptation of their various baklava choices.

The food is always delicious here and I love the pastries! The service is also wonderful. I've only picked up food and have not dined in yet, but the employees are always kind!

Really good mom and pop egyptian food. I got the chicken kebab plate which comes with a soda during the lunch special which is only $10. Very impressed with the quality and price! I also got pistachio balaclava which was perfectly sweet and flakey. Service was quick and kind.

A friendly family run restaurant. Great food and value. Best hummus in LA! I highly recommend the family meal and kunafa pistachio for dessert.

Absolutely delicious mom and pop restaurant with kind and thorough customer service Prices: super reasonable especially for the west side, and the portions are great Food: No exaggeration, all of it was delicious. It was so flavorful and hearty but also had felt homecooked and warm. Lentil soup was amazing, beef shawarma flavoring was so good, Rakatat was so good and great texure, and there was a ton of dessert options too Customer service: The lady working the front was so sweet and thorough and made sure to check in. Seemed to be family run and there were also neighborhood regulars that dropped in. A very warm and beautiful small town/neighborhood that's rare to find in LA. Parking: came in the evening and street parking was free, neighborhood parking available too if needed. Note: it looks like they might close a little before their normal time if it slows down so make sure to come early! A lot of take out orders while we were there too

Tut's has always been a go-to restaurant for whenever I'm craving a chicken kabob plate or a shawarma plate. I always enjoy their meals. There's a few Mediterranean places in the neighborhood I know of and Tut's is one of them that knows how to season their meats well. The others use little to nothing beyond salt and pepper. The service is okay. The lady that works behind the counter is very friendly and very nice. She always asks me if I need spicy sauce or utensils. The ambiance is looking very mundane. I suggest sprucing the dining area up and making it more aesthetically pleasing. Add artwork, new tables and chairs, plants, etc... I bet you will have more customers dining in than taking their orders to go. My 1 star deduction is for the pricing. I know we live in an inflation period and prices are staggering, but it doesn't any make sense to pay the same price with tax and tip for a chicken kabob plate if you use the delivery apps or go and pick it up personally at the restaurant. The order should cost less if you pick it up personally. Above all else, good food but it needs to fix things to thrive because this establishment has high potential to becoming more successful than it already is.

Ask for beef shawarma "Dio's way". One of the best shawarma's I've had in my life. Has all the regular toppings + pickled turnips & garlic sauce. Meat was tender and juicy, not overcooked which most places do. They have an outdoor area you can sit as well. If no street parking there's parking in the back.
